- An Introduction to HANDLE
- HANDLE at The Phoenix
An Introduction to HANDLE
HANDLE is an acronym for Holistic Approach to NeuroDevelomental And
Learning Efficiency. It is an effective, non-drug,
alternative for identifying and treating learning,
behavioural, and neurodevelopmental issues across the
lifespan.
HANDLE gets beyond labels, treating the root causes of disordered
behaviors.
Judith Bluestone, creator and Clinical and Educational Director of
HANDLE, author, and international speaker, was the
recipient of the 2004 National Jefferson Award, and the
prestigious Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Award for outstanding
public service for creating and sharing HANDLE to help her
community, her country, and the world. Bluestone has nearly
40 years of clinical and educational experience and her
second book, The Fabric of Autism: Weaving the Threads into
a Cogent Theory is in its second printing.
