Welcome to The Phoenix Alternative Learning Centre, located in the north end of Peterborough, Ontario. We offer a private learning environment, providing an atmosphere that both challenges and nurtures each student.
 
Many students are able to better realize their potential in an alternative learning environment, for numerous reasons. Some students have struggled with their academic careers because of learning disabilities, while others have been less successful than desired because their previous learning environment did not match their needs.
 
At the Phoenix Alternative Learning Centre, we believe that students are successful when their natural learning and developmental needs are aligned with their everyday experiences, and that all students flourish when they feel understood. It is our intention to help children, youth, and adults experience the elation and freedom that successful and positive educational experiences can provide.
 
Our goal is to help our students Rise like a Phoenix from the ashes, overcoming seemingly insurmountable circumstances, and allow them to See the Phoenix, as they triumph over adversities and enjoy successes.
