Peterborough Business Excellence Awards 2008

The Phoenix Alternative Learning Centre and Phoenix Centre for Neurodevelopment were the recipients of a 2008 Peterborough Business Excellence Award for "Entrepreneurial Spirit - less than 3 years". The Centre was also a top three finalist for "Commercial Renovation and Restoration". The awards were presented at the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner on October 22, 2008 at the Trentwinds International Centre.

Valerie MacLean, Director of Phoenix, has recently completed a rigorous Internship with The HANDLE Institute International and has become the first, and currently only, Certified HANDLE Practitioner and Instructor in Canada.
