Upcoming Events A HANDLE Introductory Workshop - Get a HANDLE on Neurodevelopmental Differences will be held in Ottawa on November 15 & 16, 2008. Please visit the Training section of the website for full details and a registration form.
Also, coming in February 2009, The Phoenix Centre for Neurodevelopment will present the Phoenix Autism Symposium. The event will be held at the Kempenfelt Centre near Barrie, Ontario, Canada on February 13, 14, and 15, 2009. The event has been rescheduled. The new date will be announced soon. Please check the website for future updates.

Peterborough Business Excellence Awards 2008 The Phoenix Alternative Learning Centre and Phoenix Centre for Neurodevelopment were the recipients of a 2008 Peterborough Business Excellence Award for "Entrepreneurial Spirit - less than 3 years". The Centre was also a top three finalist for "Commercial Renovation and Restoration". The awards were presented at the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner on October 22, 2008 at the Trentwinds International Centre.

Phoenix Centre for Neurodevelopment Online The new Phoenix Centre for Neurodevelopment web site is now online to complement the Phoenix Alternative Learning Centre's web site. Look for a fresh renewal of the Phoenix Alternative Learning Centre's web site in the coming months.
